Wastewater, Stormwater & Flood Protection

The project consists of a recalibration, a rehabilitation and an extension in "design & build" mode of the water treatment plants Sud Méliane II comme suit :
Abandonment of WASTEWATER STATIONS I (all MTS works)
• Maintenance of SM II works
Transform the existing SM II WWTP into two separate quasi autonomous plants: a plant for urban water called the Urban sector and a sector intended for urban water including industrial water called the industrial sector.
Increase its hydraulic capacity from 40,000 m3/d to 90,000 m3/d and its biological capacity from 20,000 kg DBOS/d to 36,000 kg DBOS/].
- Independent treatment of effluents and sludge from the "urban" and "industrial" processes to reuse treated water from the "urban" process for irrigation and to use the sludge in agriculture.
Add a new pretreatment unit next to the SM II pretreatment
Add a primary settling structure
- Add a secondary settling structure
- Add a thickener
- Add sludge digestion facilities, digested sludge storage tanks, cogeneration
- Add a new sludge dewatering room
- Conversion of the first floor of the IIMS operations building into an analytical laboratory and two offices.
