As part of the periodic review of projects financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IBsD) in Guinea, the Director of the IsDB regional office, Dr. Nabil GHALLEB, carried out a field visit on Thursday March 7, 2024 to the site of the rehabilitation works of the faecal sludge station (STBV) of Sonfonia including the supervision mission is entrusted to CONCEPT International in a consortium with CIRA Mali. The work on this station, which started on 01/05/2024 for a completion time of 15 months, represents one of the components of the Conakry Sanitation Project (PAC) which also includes a second STBV, 55 km of canals of rainwater drainage and rehabilitation of the city waste dump. Previously and since the end of 2020, CONCEPT had carried out all the studies relating to this major project with a budget of more than 50 million US Dollars.
This visit was an opportunity for the CONCEPT Resident Engineer in charge of Studies, Control and Methods to present the project and the progress of the work.
