Water professionals from around the world met in Dakar from 21 to 26 March 2022 for the 9th edition of the World Water Forumwhich is the world's largest water event. They participated in the event nearly 2,000 participants from 50 countries, a hundred exhibitors; more than 260 presentations and sessions were provided on this occasion.

This year, the central theme of the forum is entitled "Water Security for Peace and Development". For the organizers, it was a question of sharing ideas and resources, seeking new advances and innovations, cooperating between nations, between generations and actors in the field to address the problem of access to water and sanitation in different countries in Africa. The discussions revolved around the following sub-themes: water management, sanitation mainstreaming, capacity building, financing, research and innovation, and governance and regulation. Present at the forum, CONCEPT was the only private engineering consulting firm in Tunisia to take part from the 1st^er day, many sessions were held, focusing on the optimization of drinking water systems, inclusive urban sanitation and the adaptation of water services to climate change. At the same time, numerous contacts were established between CONCEPT and operators of the water sector in many countries and the relations linking the CONCEPT Group to decision makers and financing agencies of water and sanitation projects in Africa were strengthened.
