From February 16 to 20, 2025 CONCEPT had the honor of participating in the 22nd International Congress and Exhibition of theAfWASA (African Water and Sanitation Association) International Congress and Exhibition, held in Kampala, Uganda. This major event brought together over 2,500 experts and professionals from around the world, representing various sectors of the water industry, NGOs, government institutions, and academia, to discuss the critical challenges facing water supply and sanitation both in Africa and globally.

The congress program covered essential topics such as the impact of climate change on water resource management, innovative technological solutions for improving sanitation, and the sustainable management of water in the context of increasing scarcity. These discussions highlighted the importance of innovation, collaboration, and the commitment of all stakeholders to address the increasingly complex water-related challenges.

As a design office specializing in water, sanitation and environmental engineering, CONCEPT had the opportunity to share its expertise and present its achievements in the field of water and sanitation. This event allowed CONCEPT to forge new contacts with key players in the sector and to strengthen its links with institutional partners, companies and international organizations. This also paved the way for future collaborations, aimed at developing engineering solutions adapted to the specific needs of water and sanitation projects in Africa.

Thanks to this event, CONCEPT has deepened its understanding of the technical challenges facing water infrastructure and expanded its network of contacts in the sector. The company remains fully committed to supporting its clients in the implementation of innovative and sustainable engineering projects, meeting the growing needs for drinking water, wastewater management and sanitation across the African continent.
