During the last week of September 2024, around ten engineers from the Urban Hydraulics Department (DHU), responsible for flood protection, followed training in hydrology, 2D hydraulic modeling and climate change. Organized by CONCEPT as part of the strategic flood risk management study, the training mobilized three trainers from CONCEPT and two trainers from its partner BRLiThe theoretical courses were always followed by practical exercises drawn from the cases studied during the first phase of the aforementioned strategic study, which allowed the DHU executives to practice for themselves the methods and software used by the group of the two design offices in the development of the deliverables of the said phase. The engineers of the Ministry of Equipment were unanimous in their appreciation of the high level of the training and the added value it brought them.
