Water professionals from Africa and around the world gathered in Kampala from February 24 to 27, 2020 for the 20th edition of the International Congress and Exhibition organizedAfrican Water Associationwhich is the world's largest water event. They participated in the event nearly 2,000 participants from 50 countries, a hundred exhibitors; more than 260 presentations and sessions were provided on this occasion.
Present at the congress, CONCEPT was the only private engineering consulting firm in Tunisia and one of the few African firms. This year's theme is "Opening new ways to accelerate access to safe water and sanitation for all in Africa". For the organizers, it was a question of sharing ideas and resources, seeking new advances and innovations, cooperating between nations, between generations and actors in the field to address the issue of access to water and sanitation. Exchanges revolved around the following sub-themes: water management, sanitation management, capacity building, financing, research and innovation, and governance and regulation.
