Investigation and design of a hazardous waste pretreatment area to render certain hazardous wastes inert and suitable for disposal in a cost-effective manner at the facility.
Definition of the types of waste that will be accepted in the facility.
Preparation and drafting of the necessary procedures and methodology for the labeling, registration, packaging and storage of hazardous waste.
Preparation of safety and health procedures and manuals to be included in the bidding documents.
Realization of topographic and geotechnical works.
Preparation of detailed design and tender documents, including operation and maintenance procedures.
Establishment of the financial estimate for the execution of the works, operation, maintenance and upkeep.
Preparation of a reasonable fee structure for the disposal of hazardous waste, which will allow the government to establish a cost recovery mechanism. This structure should take into account the type, toxicity, volume, mass and other relevant characteristics of the hazardous waste.
Supervision and monitoring of performance work - Extension of contract for 6 months beginning in September 2015.
